Welcome to UX in Science. This community hub is dedicated to fostering awareness and advancement of user experience in scientific software. My interest in founding a hub like this began as an I helped seed efforts to bring together UX practitioners in research software engineering (RSE) roles who could not easily find each other. This began with the formation of the User Experience Working Group in the US-RSE community in late 2023.
This hub is designed to be a space for sharing knowledge, resources, and experiences. I am currently funded as a Better Scientific Software (BSSw) Fellow to establish and growth the hub. But I hope that many of you will contribute to its growth by suggesting and writing content, sharing events and resources, fostering discussions, and perhaps most importantly sharing with colleagues in your own realms.
